The Explore programme seeks to equip more and more Christians to explore the Bible for themselves, through the use of well-curated, affordable learning material.
First developed in 1995, the Explore Distance Learning Programme was created to extend the reach of George Whitefield College beyond its campus. Today, Explore equips Christians across Africa to understand the Bible for themselves through biblically faithful, affordable, and accessible learning materials.
As a ministry of George Whitefield College, Explore brings theological education into local churches and communities. Through eight structured 10-week modules (with optional examinations), participants deepen their knowledge of God, grow in their love for his Word, and are equipped to serve Christ faithfully in their churches, homes, workplaces, and communities.
Explore has deepened my love for God's Word and encouraged me to read and study the Bible every day. It has helped me grow as a student of Scripture and given me greater confidence to share the gospel faithfully. As an Explore facilitator, I encourage others to join the programme so that they too can know God's Word more deeply and be equipped to make Christ known in their churches and communities.
