Support Explore

Through the use of well-curated modules and affordable study material, the programme has impacted thousands of individuals over the years, who have grown in their knowledge of Scripture and theology, and become better equipped to teach and share the gospel.

Explore is currently delivered to rural pastors, lay ministers and church members through facilitated group study in the local context, with about 5 000 students registered across 14 African countries. The modules have been translated into eight languages, with much room for further expansion.

Expanding the Reach

After more than three decades of ministry, Explore has entered a new phase of its development through a decentralised operating model built on the principles of local ownership, self-reliance, and sustainability.

This renewed approach empowers pastors, churches, and Christian leaders to take primary responsibility for the growth and delivery of Explore within their own communities, recognising the programme not merely as a theological course but as a strategic tool for discipleship, leadership development, and gospel ministry.

In this model, the Explore Head Office shifts from direct programme delivery to a role of equipping, supporting, monitoring, and strengthening local partners. By providing quality resources, training, accountability, and ongoing encouragement, we seek to ensure that the ministry remains biblically faithful while allowing it to flourish through local leadership.

We believe that the church is strongest when it works together. Rather than operating in isolation, Explore is committed to building trusted partnerships that harness the gifts, experience, and resources of local churches and ministry organisations. Together, we can extend the reach of sound biblical training and contribute more effectively to the growth of Christ's church across Africa.
