Professor Elizabeth W. Mburu

Professor Elizabeth W. Mburu is a Resident Researcher at George Whitefield College, South Africa and an adjunct Associate Professor of New Testament and Greek at Africa International University, Kenya. She is also the Regional Coordinator of Langham Literature in Anglophone Africa. She pursued her doctoral studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC, USA. She is actively involved in research and publishing in the areas of New Testament, Contextual Hermeneutics, and Worldview Studies, and has written numerous books, chapters and articles in these areas. She is currently a co-editor on several projects and is part of several continental and international academic societies. She is a member of the NIV Committee for Bible Translation, as well as a fellow with Every Voice Kingdom Diversity, Biola University. She is on several editorial teams including the Africa Society for Evangelical Theology, Journal of Theological Interpretation, and African Theology Worldwide.
