Dr Jake Griesel

Jake joined GWC in 2020 as a postdoctoral fellow before joining the faculty in 2022.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a Research Associate at North-West University’s Faculty of Theology.
His interests are in Christian doctrine and history, with specialisation in the theology and history of the Church of England across its ‘long’ reformation, and more broadly in the rise and development of the Reformed Protestant tradition up to the early Enlightenment. He is currently working on a monograph on the theology of John Pearson (1613–86).
