FACILITIES - Accommodation

GWC’s student body comes from all over Africa and the world; comfortable, convenient accommodation is a big factor in effective training.

The Foord House with Faculty Centre right

About half of GWC’s students live in college accommodation enjoying the advantages of Christian community, good food and library and study facilities near at hand.

Foord House caters for singles. Each room has its own ablution facilities. There are both single rooms and shared rooms available. The shared rooms accommodate up to 3 people each.

Foord House is fully catered and residents are required to take meals on either a 5 or 7 day plan (3 meals a day). Students from other residences are also welcome and a weekly college luncheon happens here.

For married students there are three accommodation complexes with one, two and three bedroom apartments. These are available for rent by students for considerably less that market price.

The MountainView Residence

A former apartment block, Mountain View caters for couples and small families.

The apartments are self catering, but it is possible to take meals at Foord House.

THE SURROUNDS

The residences are situated on campus and are a short amble away from the lecture halls.

Within short walking distance from the residences are also the beach, shops and the railway station.

For accommodation and meal fees, please see the fee matrix structure under Fees on the main menu.
